Welcome to our new site Tubbyornotobe.com. Yes, we know it's a daft name - but we think it says it all! This site is going to be about natural weight loss, fitness and a healthy lifestyle. We'll be giving away exercise tips; great ideas for dropping pounds and clothes sizes; cool advice about how to live well, stay healthy and be full of energy every day of your life!

So who are we?
We are Carol and Bob Bartram, a husband-and-wife team from Yorkshire in England.
Between us we have qualifications in Personal Training, Nutrition, Aerobics and Pilates, and Bob is also a qualified Hypnotherapist, so we feel we have plenty to offer you in the way of weight-loss advice and ideas that REALLY WORK! You are busy people. We understand that. Time is short and there is much to do. The problem of fitting exercise into everyday life along with earning a living, caring for family and still having a social life is a real one. Often the intent is there, but the days run out of hours! The same is true with eating healthily - how often do you start the day filled with good intentions to only eat nutritious, home-prepared food, only to fall off the wagon in the bustling reality of everyday life? I sure do!!
We cannot ignore the truth - the western world is fatter than it has ever been. Close to 50% of the population of the U.S. are now overweight, and the percentage of those that are obese is rising alarmingly. The UK is not far behind…and being overweight and sedentary brings with it a whole host of nasty health problems. Like heart disease, diabetes and strokes. The incidence of all 3 within the population is rising rapidly - and those suffering from them are getting younger and younger.
The buck stops with YOU. Not the government. Nor the fast food chains. It is YOUR responsibility to care for your body… if you want to Live Long - let alone Prosper - you have to DO something. Right now.
